Ryo Yoshizawa Appeared in Ginza Motoji for the Kokuhō Stage Greeting | Media

At Ginza Motoji, we were honoured to provide the full kimono ensemble worn by actor Ryo Yoshizawa for a stage greeting.

Yoshizawa appeared at a special New Year’s Eve screening of his starring film Kokuhō, held at Shochiku’s Kabukiza Theatre. Dressed in kimono, he made his entrance along the hanamichi and, looking out over the full audience and the view from the Kabukiza stage. Reflecting on the many experiences the film had brought him, he described it as “an unforgettable year.”

We are sincerely grateful for the opportunity to contribute, through dress, to such a meaningful moment in the life of the work, in the exceptional setting of the Kabukiza Theatre, a place that stands as a symbol of Japan’s traditional culture.
