Ginza Motoji Creates the “Ginza Earth-Dyed Tapestry” for Fufu Tokyo Ginza

Ginza Motoji was honoured to create the “Ginza Earth-Dyed Tapestry” for the entrance of FUFU TOKYO GINZA, which opened in Autumn 2025.

The fabric was dyed with earth collected from the very site on which the hotel stands, giving the work a character unique to this place. The dyeing was entrusted to Hiroki Yamazaki, who comes from the Yamazaki family of kusakizome natural dyers and continues to explore new possibilities for the craft.

As a kimono specialist rooted in Ginza, contributing to this new landmark through our textile expertise has been deeply meaningful.
